As a copywriter, I understand the importance of crafting compelling and persuasive copy that not only grabs the attention of potential customers, but also effectively communicates the value of a product or service. This is why when a client reached out to me with a problem of a lack of leads and sales, I knew I had to take a closer look at their landing page copy.
Upon reviewing the copy, I noticed that it wasn’t quite up to par. The headline read: “Every Trick in the Book…Every Tactic…Every Strategy…Every Secret Young Graduates, Undergraduates, and Grown Ups are using to Rake in Over 2 Million Weekly in One Ultimate Blueprint”. I knew that this headline wasn’t going to be effective in drawing in potential customers and immediately suggested rewriting the copy.
But before I began to rewrite the copy, I knew I needed to dig deeper and find out more about the client and their business. That’s why I used my P.I.Q (personal interrogation questions) method. Through this method, I discovered a very touching story about my client. He was a man on crutches who had achieved significant results. This discovery was a game-changer for me and allowed me to craft a headline that was much more effective.
The new headline read: “How a man on crutches made 1.3 million naira in 90 days without running paid ads”. This headline not only grabs attention but also evokes emotions of empathy and inspiration. Instead of selling a lead magnet, I was selling empathy.
The results speak for themselves. My client reported getting a minimum of 10 leads per day for as little as 700 naira. This strategy of using personal interrogation questions and crafting copy that evokes emotions has proven to be extremely effective for me and I continue to use it in all my copywriting projects.
As seen in this example, my approach to copywriting is not just about putting words together but rather a strategic process of understanding the client’s story, their target audience, and crafting a message that resonates with them. I am committed to helping businesses achieve their goals and generate leads through persuasive and effective copywriting.
“Don’t let a mediocre copy hold your business back, let me help you turn your unique story into a headline-grabbing success like I did for my client on crutches, resulting in a minimum of 10 leads a day for just 700 naira.”
